Uniform

The children are expected to be clean and tidy. The school uniform helps to present a ‘whole school' impression and the children wear clothing with the school logo with pride. All items can be purchased from Wreal Embroidery in Bourton-on-the-Water.  Please do contact the School Office if you need any help funding school uniform. Our PTFA hold regular second-hand uniform sales which are advertised in our weekly newsletter. 

Boys

Winter

  • Navy blue sweatshirt or jumper with school logo on

  • Blue or white shirt or polo shirt;

  • Black or grey trousers 

Summer

  • Black or grey shorts

  • Sunhat

Girls

Winter

  • Navy blue sweatshirt, jumper or cardigan with school logo on

  • Blue or white blouse or polo shirt

  • Black or grey skirt or pinafore, or smart tailored trouser

Summer

  • Blue and white striped or checked summer dress

PE KIT

  • Blue or white round-necked, plain tee-Shirt

  • Black or blue PE shorts

  • Pumps for indoor use

  • Trainers for outside use

  • Black or blue tracksuit bottoms for winter

There is no specific coat included in the uniform list although they are available from Wreal embroidery.

Early Years

In Reception the children are encouraged to learn outside in all weathers so they need appropriate clothing in school for this. We recommend that a pair of wellies are in school every day especially during the autumn and winter months. Please name all items of clothing and footwear.

General Information 

If your child has pierced ears they may wear small plain studs.

Long hair should be tied up. Hair-bands should be in a colour sympathetic to the uniform (blue, black, grey, white).

All clothes should be clearly labelled with your child’s name.

Please note that the wearing of rings, bracelets, earrings and necklaces is discouraged, as these may be dangerous in play situations. Nail varnish and tattoo stickers should not be worn to school.

Please speak to the Head of School regarding wearing jewellery for religious purposes.

For health and safety reasons, items of jewellery, especially earrings, are not allowed during PE activities.
